The Cottage
Rona View cottage occupies a beautiful shoreside location on the island of Grimsay, looking out onto a sea-loch, Baymore Harbour, Ronay and North Uist. The cottage has spectacular views from all rooms, and the 3-bedrooms comfortably accommodate up to 4 guests.
The garden area is by the shore. There are benches and fold-away seats to sit on and enjoy the view, and, if you're lucky, spot the local otters! The bedrooms, lounge and dining room all look out onto the sea-loch.
Amenities
The cottage has central heating with supplementary electric heaters if needed. All electricity, heating, bedding and towels are included in the price. There is also WiFi and a landline telephone, as well as a desk area. There is space for 2 cars to park outside the cottage.
The kitchen has an electric cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, etc. There is a washing machine and ironing facilities. There is a dining table with 4 chairs in the room between the living room and kitchen. The main bathroom upstairs has a bath and separate shower cubicle, then there is an additional toilet downstairs. The lounge has a television with Sky TV and DVD player. Most channels are available, including all Sky Sports channels.
The Area
Rona View is situated in an ideal location. The cottage is 1.5 miles from the main A865 that links North Uist, Benbecula and South Uist and is centrally located for a holiday in the Uists.
There is so much beautiful scenery to take in on the isles, as well as a few lovely pubs, cafes and shops to visit. I have been coming here for over 20 years, and I'm happy to give you advice and recommendations to make your trip special.
Kallin Harbour is 1 mile away, boat trips can be arranged from here for fishing and sight-seeing, I can give details to enable trips to be booked.
